Kobe Global Startup Support
IDJ has been entrusted with the responsibility of executing the "Kobe Global Startup Support" program for the fiscal year 2023, as commissioned by the city of Kobe. This initiative aims to provide comprehensive business support services to foreign entrepreneurs, overseas startup companies, and related entities.
As Kobe continues its efforts to attract and retain foreign entrepreneurs, our company has taken on the role of designing and executing strategies for individual business assistance, event coordination, and hosting international delegations, all of which contribute to the enhancement and expansion of support mechanisms.
Target Audience and Focus Areas
The primary beneficiaries of this program are foreign entrepreneurs aspiring to establish businesses within Kobe and overseas startup company founders and executives. These individuals, operating predominantly in the following sectors, are encouraged to participate:
- Businesses utilizing advanced technologies (IT, healthcare, medical and welfare, environment, logistics, etc.)
- Ventures triggering high-value additions and innovation within existing industries
- Initiatives contributing to solving societal challenges such as the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)
Our Role in the Program
Leveraging our expertise and global network in supporting international enterprises, our company is dedicated to nurturing the growth of foreign entrepreneurs and startups. Specifically, we will offer the following services:
- Business matching, talent acquisition, fundraising, and introduction to government support measures.
- Establishment of an implementation framework with proficient bilingual Japanese-English speakers.
- Collaboration with local and national companies, economic organizations, and entities.
- Hosting international delegations, event management, and effective dissemination of information.
Project Duration
The "Kobe Global Startup Support" program is set to continue until the end of the fiscal year 2024 (March 31, 2024).
