Innovation – Solving Big Problems for Australia-Japan with AJS

We will have an event with AJS 25th of May at PwC office.

Here is detail.
Speakers will include Jason Hayes,Partner and leader of the PwC Japan Practice in Asia Pacific, who will give an update on the startup ecosystem in Japan, and Joshua Flannery of UNSW Innovations who will describe Innovation Dojo’s recent activities.

The ‘star’ teams from the Innovation Dojo program, V-KAIWA and ChewmonGo, will present on their trip and insights gained.

There will be opportunity for questions and discussion, followed by networking with refreshments.

This is a not-to-be-missed event for anyone interested in the future of Australia-Japan business.

Innovation Dojo has just launched

A new program coined “Innovation Dojo” has just launched that looks to pair language students studying Japanese with Australia based entrepreneurs to work toward localising presentations, pitching styles, market research and the products being developed for the Japanese market and vice versa. The program will take its first batch of participants through in September and is part of a new organisation, the Japan Australia Entrepreneur Initiative (JAIE), founded by current UNSW AGSM MBA student Kaoru Nishinakagawa together with Joshua Flannery from UNSW Innovations and seasoned web and app developer, Ayumi Mizoshiri.
